We start by assembling a team of cloud architects, security engineers, data analysts and engineers, project managers, and engineering leaders to develop a plan for the assessment. The plan will include the scope of the assessment, the timeline, and the budget.
Next, the team will collect data about your business's current infrastructure, applications, data, security posture, and business goals. This data can be collected by reviewing your existing architecture, source code, and documentation, and having collaborative sessions with key stakeholders in your company. By the end of this phase, the team will have a good understanding of your current landscape, objectives, and pain points.
The team will then assess the collected data to identify any potential challenges or obstacles to cloud migration. The assessment will also identify any opportunities to improve your business's efficiency, agility, and profitability by migrating to the cloud. Based on this information, we will map out a strategy for your cloud migration.
The next step is to generate a report that summarises the findings of the assessment, including recommendations for addressing any identified challenges or obstacles. The report will also outline a migration strategy, along with any risks and observations.
Finally, the team will present the strategy and report back to all key stakeholders in a collaborative planning session. This phase is critical to aligning the strategy between all stakeholders and getting the final buy-in.
